Product Description
The Unikko Pillow features Marimekko’s iconic poppy pattern quilted on cotton. The Unikko (poppy) pattern was designed in 1964 by Maija Isola. At that time, Marimekko’s founder Armi Ratia ruled out the design of floral patterns. She believed flowers were more beautiful in nature than on textiles. Eventually her opinion changed, and today this famous poppy is known as the symbol of Marimekko.
The pillow cover has a hidden zipper. A pillow insert is included.
