The Marimekko Pieni Unikko Kitchen Towel is made from a cotton and linen blend. It features Marimekko’s iconic poppy pattern in orange and linen.
The Unikko (poppy) pattern was designed in 1964 by Maija Isola. At that time, Marimekko’s founder Armi Ratia ruled out the design of floral patterns. She believed flowers were more beautiful in nature than on textiles. Over time Ratia’s opinion changed. Today, this famous poppy is recognized as the symbol of Marimekko.

Care
Wash before use. Machine wash in cold water, without bleach or fabric softener, and line dry. If needed, iron at medium temperature.
