The Marimekko Cosmetic Bag is made from a blend of cotton and linen, treated with a stain repellent finish. It is lined with polyester, and has four interior pockets and an exterior zipper closure. It features the Melooni pattern printed in powder, wine and red. This melon-shaped pattern is one of Maija Isola’s many designs from the 1960s. Printed in Helsinki, Finland.
The bag was sewn using the whole width of the fabric, so the pattern’s appearance may vary. Each bag is unique.
