The Kastehelmi (dewdrop) pattern was designed by Oiva Toikka. He was exploring ways to hide joint marks in glass when he created this pattern. The Kastehelmi pattern features rings of raised glass bubbles, designed to resemble strings of dewdrops glistening under the morning sun.
