Designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1929 for the German Pavilion at the International Exhibition in Barcelona, this stool was originally designed to compliment the iconic Barcelona® Chair. The chair was intended for royalty, while the stool was intended to be a place for the servants to sit. The striking presence and elegant form of this chair and stool set make it a modern classic.

Knoll produces the Barcelona® Chair and Stool to the exact specifications of the designer. The chrome frame is hang-buffed to a mirror finish, and the individual leather panels are cut, hand-welted and hand-tufted. The panels and buttons are crafted from a single hide, and each strap is fabricated to match the upholstery leather perfectly.

Quick ship configuration is chrome frame with Volo Black leather. More options are available in addition to those shown. For more information, please contact us.
