The Tactile Craftworks Refillable Map Journal pays tribute to Madison, Wisconsin. It is made from full-grain leather, etched with a composite of 1950s Madison maps. The journal closes securely with a solid brass, Sam Browne closure, and includes a lined Moleskine notebook that can be replaced. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Tactile Craftworks is a woman-owned and operated leather crafting company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was founded in 2014 by Sarah Heck and Anna Warren. They met in a theater prop shop in 2008, where they collaborated on hand-crafted projects. Wanting to continue a shared aesthetic into a new project, Sarah and Anna began by selling their products at local fairs and farmers markets. In 2016 they made their transition to wholesale, and now partner with over 200 retailers nationwide.
