Tapio Wirkkala is a versatile genius synonymous with Finnish design. His contributions to the world of functional art include everything from glassware to banknotes. During his world-renowned career, Wirkkala earned a vast array of awards, gold medals at the Triennale in Milan in 1951 and 1954.
