Interior Designer

We are looking for a creative and driven person who loves modern design and solving problems. Our sales team (which includes several Interior Designers) is truly passionate about the modern, high-end products we sell. We are completely focused on helping our customers find the best solutions for their homes and their lives. Our customers trust us to deliver the excellent products and service every time they walk into our stores.

As an Interior Designer at The Century House, you would become an expert on our vast selection of furniture, lighting and accessories for the home and office. Although an Interior Design degree is helpful, it is not required. We are looking for someone who is passionate about modern design and helping our customers realize their design dreams. Design work offered to our customers can include space planning and 3D visualization as well as selection of furniture, colors, and materials, lighting design and more.

We are a growing business and we have some exciting opportunities available in the near future. Those with interest or experience in commercial design and/or sales are encouraged to apply.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree

Comfortable using computers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to learn and master new product information

Ability to read price lists and do basic math calculations using a calculator

Interest in selling modern and/or Scandinavian design and furniture

Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

Experience using AutoCAD, Sketchup and/or other design software

Proficient using Google programs such as Google Calendar and Google Drive

Some sales or customer service experience

We offer competitive hourly pay with additional opportunities to earn bonuses. This is a full time position (40 hours per week/5 days per week). Most Saturdays are required.
