Scott Leather is a semi aniline leather from bovine of European origin with a lightly buffed and natural grain. The leather is dyed all the way through. It has a pigmented and protective coat that helps repel stains, oil and moisture. The result is a soft and waxy feel (although the less protected leathers below feel slightly softer). Scott has a semi-matte finish on the surface, while the other leather options have a glossier appearance. Thickness: 1.2-1.4 mm
Savoy Leather is an anilin leather, which means it is dyed through as well. Analin leathers are made from the finest hides and require less correction and processing. The result is a very soft and natural feel. Because of the natural finish, this leather more readily accepts stains and oils. Over time, when exposed to light and use, the leather develops a patina. Natural markings and irregularities of the hide can be visible on this type of leather. Thickness: 1.0-1.2 mm
Hemsen Leather has is an anilin leather with a light surface treatment. Its bareness reveals all the hide’s natural characteristics. Like the Savoy Leather, this leather will develop a patina over time and does accept oils and stains readily. This anilin leather is dyed through and it is thicker than the previous two leather options. Thickness: 1.3-1.5 mm
Elmo Rustical Leather is a high quality anilin leather. Only the finest hides sourced from Scandinavian cattle are used to create Elmo Rustical. Its natural grain varies in structure and offers outstanding comfort. It is an Aniline leather, so it is dyed through and shows more natural characteristics and markings of the hide. It has some surface protection, but will develop a patina over time with use. Thickness: 1.3-1.5 mm
