The Winter Cardinals tile from Motawi Tileworks is inspired by a Yamamoto print. Nawal Motawi felt that the bold prints of artist Yoshiko Yamamoto were perfect for her raised line, decorative ceramic tiles. The graphic nature and Japanese styling of Yamomoto’s work comes through beautifully on this tile.
A notch is on the back of the tile for hanging. An easel is also available to purchase, specifically designed to hold Motawi tiles.
