The Nathan Moore House Tile in Black & White is handmade by Motawi Tileworks. Frank Lloyd Wright was known for designing every aspect of an environment – from windows to furniture to lighting. This art tile is adapted from a wood door grille design found in the Nathan Moore House, located in Oak Park, Illinois. The black and white glaze colors create a striking contrast.
This thick tile is made and glazed by hand in Michigan. A raised-line tile, it has small ridges that form the design and contain the hand-applied glaze. Brilliant colors and precise details make this tile a true work of art.
An optional easel is available. It is specifically designed to hold Motawi tiles. A notch is also provided in the back of the tile for hanging.
Made by hand in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
