The Marimekko Shower Curtain is made of recycled polyester, printed in the Juhla Unikko pattern in off white, sage and dark blue. It can be hung with shower hooks from the 12 small metal rings at its top edge. Its bottom edge is weighted. Shower hooks are not included.
This product celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Unikko pattern, designed in 1964 by Maija Isola. At that time, Marimekko’s founder Armi Ratia ruled out the design of floral patterns. She believed flowers were more beautiful in nature than on textiles. Over time Ratia’s opinion changed. Today, this famous poppy is recognized as the symbol of Marimekko.
