The Marimekko Unikko Quilted Pillow features the famous poppy pattern, quilted on 100% cotton fabric. The Unikko pattern was designed in 1964 by Maija Isola. Armi Ratia, Marimekko’s founder, initially forbid the design of floral patterns. Armi believed flowers were more beautiful in nature than on textiles. Eventually her opinion changed, and the Unikko pattern has become Marimekko’s unofficial logo.
A pillow insert is included.
