The Marimekko Neat Crossbody Medium shoulder bag is made of recycled polyester. It features the Mini Unikko pattern printed in black and khaki. The bag has an adjustable shoulder strap, a zipper closure, and a slip-in inside pocket that allows the whole bag to be folded for easy storage.
The Unikko (poppy) pattern was designed in 1964 by Maija Isola. At that time, Marimekko’s founder Armi Ratia ruled out the design of floral patterns. She believed flowers were more beautiful in nature than on textiles. Over time, Ratia’s opinion changed. Today, this famous poppy is known as the symbol of Marimekko.
