Product Description
The Ihastuttava Juhla Unikko Scarf is light in weight and generous in size. With stitched edges, it is woven from a lyocell and wool blend in the Juhla Unikko pattern in cobalt and navy.
The Unikko (poppy) pattern was created in 1964 by Maija Isola. Armi Ratia, Marimekko’s founder, initially forbid the design of floral patterns. Armi believed flowers were more beautiful in nature than on textiles. Her opinion changed, and the Unikko pattern has become Marimekko’s unofficial logo.
