The Marimekko Carry All shoulder bag is made of recycled, jacquard knit polyester. It features the Unikko pattern in black and black.
The bag has a zipper closure, a handle, and an adjustable, jacquard knit Unikko pattern shoulder strap. It has an open pocket on the inside and the outside, leather details, and a Marimekko keychain attached to the front.
The Unikko (poppy) pattern was designed in 1964 by Maija Isola. At that time, Marimekko’s founder Armi Ratia ruled out the design of floral patterns. She believed flowers were more beautiful in nature than on textiles. Over time, Ratia’s opinion changed. Today, this famous poppy is known as the symbol of Marimekko.
