Product Description

Herman Miller

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, these molded plastic chairs were first introduced at New York’s Museum of Modern Art in 1948. Utilizing molding techniques developed during WWII, the Eameses created the first manufactured plastic chairs. The Herman Miller® produced molded plastic chairs are base on the original Eames design and are made with updated, eco-friendly materials. The gentle curves of the chair create the perfect shape to cradle the body and deliver exceptional comfort.

This model features the arm chair seat option with the iconic wire base. Also available without arms. Plastic seats are made of recyclable polypropylene. Make this chair your own by picking from a variety of plastic colors and metal finishes.

This timeless Eames design’s most recent innovation is the addition of 100 percent post-industrial recycled plastic into the Eames Molded Plastic Chairs. The subtle matte texture of the material lends a soft tactility and notable durability.
