The Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman in Mohair Supreme has all the comfort of the original design with a plush new textile. Mohair Supreme is made of 100% mohair – it is soft, luxurious and very durable.
The Eames Chair and Ottoman are hand assembled with a wood shell that is made of 7-ply ebony molded wood. Plush cushioning and the perfect reclined angle make this chair exceptionally comfortable. With this combination of comfort and design, it’s easy to see why this masterpiece has been highly coveted for so many years. While this chair was designed in the 50’s, it looks as modern as ever. We think it’s safe to say it will never go out of style.
Eames Lounge Size Options
The Eames Lounge is now available in two sizes: Classic and Tall. The new tall version of the chair is designed to provide more comfort and support to taller folks. It is about 2″ higher in the back than the Classic and about 2″ deeper in the seat.
Environmental Information
Herman Miller® now also uses 24% sustainable materials in the chair and ottoman. This furniture is also 29% recyclable, not that it would be going anywhere in the next century.
