We created this limited edition Swedish Dishcloth in celebration of our 70th Anniversary! All proceeds go to local charities (find more detail below). It features a piece of artwork titled Glad Helg by Kristen Rost, a local, Madison-based graphic designer and friend. This favorite piece of art can also be found on greeting cards and hanging on the walls of our Gift Shop. It features a simple red house nestled in a forest of green trees.
Clean your dishes the Scandinavian way! Swedish dishcloths are made of cotton and cellulose. They are printed with water-based environmentally friendly ink and 100% biodegradable. The cellulose and cotton make for a soft, thick fabric that dries out faster than sponges and lasts for a very long time. The fabric is stiff when dry, but immediately softens once it is wet. It has a spongy quality that is perfect for wiping up spills. A slight texture to the surface of the dishcloth helps to clean dishes effortlessly. When it’s time to clean your dishcloth, simply toss it in the washing machine or the dishwasher.
All Proceeds go to Charity
For our 70th Anniversary, we wanted to find ways to give back to our community. Proceeds from the sale of this item and our Century House Fir Soap will be donated to local chapters of The Road Home and Habitat for Humanity.
