As we stock up on antihistamines, sunscreen and bug spray, gearing up for Summer, we’re also dreaming about our favorite ways to relax in the out-of-doors. So what makes an ideal outdoor oasis?
It all starts with a chair. Generally, where you’ll be sitting drives your choice of materials and construction. Around the campfire, for example, a rugged plastic is a practical and surprisingly comfortable choice. Poolside, the options expand, from upholstery to metal.
Next, consider a table: Will you be dining and entertaining al fresco and needing a table to seat two or more? Or maybe you simply need a spot to rest your beer or s’mores. Finally, complete your retreat with a planter full of fragrant blooms, a stocked bar cart, some ambient lighting and you’re ready for Summer!
