Wedding season is almost here! I always look forward to being a part of wedding celebrations and watching the smiling couple enjoy their big day. Choosing a memorable wedding gift and wrapping it with style is part of the fun. While I often try to select an item from the couple’s wedding registry, sometimes a step outside the list is called for.
When the bride and/or groom are close family or friends, I want to give them something that really stands out. The gift must be practical as well as beautiful — something that will provide plenty of use and enjoyment for years to come. Purchasing crystal bowls that will end up in the back of a dusty, dark closet is generally not recommended these days.
