Generation Chair by Knoll

The Generation chair by Knoll uses revolutionary materials that naturally respond to the body. The unique Flexback design decreases the number of adjustments required and increases comfort.  The Generation chair design also allows for a person to sit in endless positions comfortably throughout the day.

All chairs include several adjustments. Seat height and seat depth adjustments allow the Generation chair to accommodate all sizes of users. The tilt preference selector allows the user to set the degree of recline movement depending on preference and type of task. The dynamic suspension control is a unique feature that allows for smooth multidirectional movements - forward, backward and side-to-side.

This revolutionary chair has earned a number of certifications for achieving high environmental standards. The Generation is the first chair to earn a SMaRT© Sustainable Platinum rating. It is also GREENGUARD Children & Schools certified and can contribute to achieving LEED® points.

Arms
The height adjustable arm only adjusts in height. Simply lift the lever on the arms to slide the arm into the perfect position and release the lever to lock. The high performance arm has adjustments that allow the arms to pivot and move easily in width and depth in addition to the height adjustment feature.

Frame
The frame is available in two different colors, light and dark. You may also choose to have a polished aluminum base instead of the standard light or dark base. Please refer to the images to see these options.

Lumbar Support
The height adjustable lumbar option allows the user to grasp the lumbar support and slide it into the desired position. This option provides additional back support and adjustments.

Seat Fabrics
The fabrics offered are the base grade Generation fabrics. Additional options are available. Please contact The Century House at 608-233-4488 for additional information.
