HermanMiller® Eames® Plastic Side Chair (4 Leg Base)
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, these molded plastic chairs were first introduced at New York's Museum of Modern Art in 1948. Utilizing molding techniques developed during WWII, the Eameses created the first manufactured plastic chairs. The Herman Miller® produced molded plastic chairs are based on the original Eames design and are made with updated, eco-friendly materials. The gentle curves of the chair create the perfect shape to cradle the body and deliver exceptional comfort.
This chair model features the side chair seat option and the four leg base, which creates a simple and elegant look. Metal legs are available with chrome or black finish. Five base styles are available with the option of a side chair or armchair seat. Choose from ten modern and fresh seat colors. Plastic seats are made of recyclable polypropylene. Eames Molded Plastic Chairs are 100% recyclable at the end of their usable life.
