HermanMiller® Eames® Plastic Stacking Chair
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, these molded plastic chairs were first introduced at New York's Museum of Modern Art in 1948. Utilizing molding techniques developed during WWII, the Eameses created the first manufactured plastic chairs. The Herman Miller® produced molded plastic chairs are based on the original Eames design and are made with updated, eco-friendly materials. The gently curves of the chair create the perfect shape to cradle the body and deliver exceptional comfort.
Shown above is the stacking chair base, which is only available with a side chair seat. The stacking base creates an ideal chair for storing extra chairs in a house or in the office. Choose from ten modern and fresh seat colors. Plastic seats are made of recyclable polypropylene. The Eames Molded Plastic Chairs are 100% recyclable.
